Team Suzuki made history once again as over a thousand Raider R150 riders revved their engines and embarked on an unforgettable journey across the Metro, including the expressway, for the Suzuki Raider Big Ride! This unprecedented event aimed to celebrate supremacy and promote road safety, as riders embarked on a 44-km journey showcasing the dominance of the Raider R150 and securing its title as the unrivaled Underbone King.
On March 23, 2024, Raider riders from Calabarzon, NCR, Bulacan, and Pampanga gathered at the Suzuki Caloocan Cyclemar 3S Shop on 10th Avenue in Caloocan City as early as 3:00 AM. The massive parade of the Underbone King commenced at 7:45 AM, traversing Edsa to Roxas Boulevard, entering the Manila-Cavite Expressway (Cavitex), and concluding at Bacoor Coliseum in Molino. Notably, this marked the first organized large convoy of riders to allow entry of small displacement motorcycles on a Manila expressway.
The expressway experience added excitement for the Raider riders, who demonstrated discipline and camaraderie throughout the journey. The event continued with a program hosted by DJ Tanya Tsinita, emphasizing the importance of safety riding through a segment that tested riders’ understanding of road rules and regulations. Riders were also treated to raffle items and giveaways from Suzuki’s trade partners.
The event was graced by Suzuki executives, solidifying the company’s commitment to fostering a vibrant motorcycle community in the country. The route of the Suzuki Raider Big Ride was carefully chosen and organized in partnership with various government agencies and local authorities.
The Suzuki Raider Big Ride reflects Suzuki’s gratitude to riders for their two-decade support of the Raider brand, fostering a growing community that stands in solidarity.
