Manila, Philippines — The Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA) and the Association for Inbound Golf Tourism Philippines (AIGTP) are proud to launch the inaugural PHILTOA – AIGTP Golf Cup 2025 on July 22, 2025. With the theme “Beyond the Greens,” this first-of-its-kind tournament unites the tourism and golf sectors to highlight golf as an emerging pillar of the country’s leisure and travel offerings.
Set against the backdrop of the lush Villamor Airbase Golf Course in the morning and capped by an Awarding Ceremony at Newport World Resorts in the afternoon, this landmark event blends sportsmanship with tourism advocacy. The tournament is made even more exciting with a ₱4,500 registration fee that includes a green fee, caddie fee, shared cart, mulligans, giveaways, raffle entries, and a delicious lunch during the awards program.
As PHILTOA and AIGTP join forces for the first time, the Golf Cup aims to:
- Strengthen camaraderie among tourism stakeholders
- Promote golf as a viable and growing sector in the tourism industry
- Reinforce the Philippines’ position as a leading golf and leisure destination in Southeast Asia
